Neutral white, high outputAccording to its spec sheet, the ATF7415 is a 15W high powered, ENERGY STAR approved LED track fixture specially designed for task and accent lighting; this black 4000 K, 38° version is LCTL-ATF15-40K-BK. At 4000 K, the series is rated at 1,240 lumens and 82.6 lumens per watt, compared with 1,160 lumens and 77.3 lumens per watt at 3000 K and 3500 K. The 90 CRI option is offered only in 3000 K, so this 4000 K model has a CRI of 80. A
neutral 4000 K white keeps whites, steel, concrete and cool colours crisp, which is why it works so well for
task lighting in kitchens, workshops, studios and stores.
Built for heat, built to lastThe
aluminum body has an aesthetically pleasing smooth cylindrical shape and includes a colour matching aluminum heat sink that provides maximum heat dissipation. That thermal design supports a lumen maintenance of 70% at 50,000 hours, and the fixture is LM79 and LM80 tested. The
black finish gives a bold, graphic look on a white ceiling and blends into black or exposed ceilings, a natural fit for lofts and industrial spaces.
Beam, aiming and dimmingThe
38° beam spread sits between the 15°, 20° and 60° options of the series: tight enough for contrast, wide enough to cover a workbench or a shelf unit. In the photometric report, run on the 3000 K, 38° model, the measured spreads are 34.0° vertical and 33.9° horizontal, with 84% of the lumens inside the 0-30° zone. The head tilts up to 90° and rotates 330°, so you can aim it in multiple directions. It is
dimmable with TRIAC dimming controls (TRIAC/ELV); verify your dimmer's compatibility. It runs on a 120 V primary voltage, is cULus listed and is approved for dry locations.
Installation and applicationsThe spec sheet details the connector supplied and the other configurations available: confirm the match with your
track lighting before ordering, and have a licensed electrician handle the wiring. Honeycomb and snoot accessories for the series are also listed. In a Red Deer auto shop, a row of these heads lights each bay; in a Brampton hardware store, they make paint chips and tools easy to read; in a Laval architecture studio, they light drawing tables and model displays. 7415 15W 38° spotlight in white, 4000 K; for warmer zones, the
