High efficacy in a white cylinderThe spec sheet describes the ATF7415 as a 15W high powered, ENERGY STAR approved LED track fixture specially designed for task and accent lighting; this white, 4000 K, 38° version carries the code LCTL-ATF15-40K-WH. Among the colour temperatures of the series, 4000 K is the brightest and most efficient: 1,240 lumens and 82.6 lumens per watt, versus 1,160 lumens and 77.3 lumens per watt at 3000 K and 3500 K. The
white finish on the smooth, cylindrical
aluminum body keeps the fixture discreet on white ceilings and white tracks.
Thermal design and durabilityA colour matching aluminum heat sink is built into the body to provide maximum heat dissipation, which supports lumen maintenance of 70% at 50,000 hours. The fixture is LM79 and LM80 tested, ENERGY STAR approved and
cULus listed for dry locations, and it is covered by a 5-year warranty. In short, it is a
commercial track head you can count on in spaces that stay lit all day.
Beam and aimingWith its
38° beam spread, this model sits in the middle of the series' 15°, 20°, 38° and 60° options. The photometric report, run on the 3000 K, 38° version, gives beam widths of 1.2 ft at 2 ft, 2.4 ft at 4 ft, 3.7 ft at 6 ft, 4.9 ft at 8 ft and 6.1 ft at 10 ft, useful reference points for spacing 38° heads along a counter or an aisle. The head tilts up to 90° and rotates 330° to spotlight in multiple directions, and it is
dimmable with TRIAC dimming controls (TRIAC/ELV); test your dimmer for compatibility.
Installation and ideasThe fixture runs on a 120 V primary voltage. The spec sheet lists the connector supplied and the other connector configurations: check the match with your
track lighting before ordering, and have a licensed electrician install the track and its power feed. Honeycomb and snoot accessories for the series appear in the spec sheet as well. In a Waterloo tech office, white heads light collaboration tables; in a Moncton pharmacy, they make labels easy to read; in a Saint John clinic, they brighten the reception counter. Pair it with the
7415 15W 38° spotlight in black, 4000 K or the
