Clean lines of light are a hallmark of modern architecture. Linear recessed LED fixtures sit flush within ceilings and walls, creating seamless slots of illumination that guide the eye and define a space. They provide comfortable, uniform general lighting while keeping the ceiling plane minimal and uncluttered.
Types and Options
Trimless linear fixtures are plastered into drywall for a light-only appearance, while flanged versions install quickly into finished ceilings. Many systems can be joined in continuous runs and even connected at corners to form patterns and geometric shapes. Linear slot downlights with multiple small adjustable optics combine general and accent lighting in one narrow opening. Dimmable drivers and a choice of colour temperatures suit residential and commercial projects.
Where to Use Them
Popular in offices, corridors, retail spaces, lobbies, kitchens, living areas, bathrooms and contemporary custom homes.
