Ready to paint your ceiling with any colour you can imagine? Meet the SKYE OnCloud by LITELINE, model SLMB4-RGBTW-WH-4KT — a 4" full-colour and white tuning LED recessed downlight that homeowners and contractors also call a pot light, a slim ceiling light or simply a smart LED ceiling light. SKYE is a high-performance, easy-to-install downlight with regressed optics that pull the light source back to reduce glare, plus interchangeable magnetic baffles so the look can change without changing the fixture. Instead of choosing one colour temperature and living with it, this OnCloud version gives you white tuning from 27K to 50K and full colour, so the same fixture can go from a crisp task white in the kitchen to a soft amber for movie night or a bold colour for a party, a nursery or a storefront display.

Built for real projects, the 4" SKYE delivers up to 900 lm at 12W, which is plenty of punch for general lighting while sipping a fraction of the energy an old halogen pot light would burn. Its shallow housing is a lifesaver in tight joist bays, finished basements and condo ceilings where depth is limited, and the fixture is rated for wet location use — think covered porches, soffits and bathroom ceilings. Liteline backs the SKYE platform with a lifetime warranty, and the white (WH) finish blends into virtually any painted ceiling. Want a different look? The magnetic, dead front SKYE Select Trims swap in seconds, in round or square, with baffle finishes such as black, white, specular, semi-specular and matte gold.

This colour changing recessed light is at home in kitchens, hallways, living rooms, bedrooms, nurseries, basements and bathrooms, and just as convincing in cafés, salons, clinics, boutiques and other commercial LED ceiling lights applications where ambience sells. Canadian renovators love the shallow build for retrofits in older homes, and the wet location rating for four-season porches. Pair it with matching SKYE Select Trims SLMB4-12W-RT-BK or SKYE Select Trims SLMB4-12W-RT-BKBG, or mix it with the SKYE 4" Color Selectable SLMB4-12W-CCT-WH in rooms that only need white light. Take your ceiling to the SKYE.

A downlight designed to disappear — until you want it noticed
The SKYE fixture by Liteline was engineered around two ideas: comfort and flexibility. The regressed optics set the LED source deep inside the housing so you see light on your surfaces, not a hot spot in your eyes when you are seated at the dining table or lying in bed. The interchangeable magnetic baffles click on and off, which means the same recessed can be dressed up or down over the years without opening the ceiling. The white housing of the SLMB4-RGBTW-WH-4KT is the safest bet for painted drywall ceilings, while the optional SKYE Select Trims turn it into a design element.

Full colour and white tuning in one 4" aperture
Where the CCT selectable SKYE gives you fixed white options, the OnCloud model goes further: white tunable from 27K to 50K plus full colour. Warm, relaxing whites in the evening, bright neutral or cool whites for cooking, reading, makeup and detail work, and saturated colours whenever the room needs a mood — holidays, gaming, a nursery night routine, a retail window. One fixture type covers the whole house, which also simplifies your order and your spares.

Installation, accessories and compatibility
The SKYE platform is built for fast work on site. Its shallow profile helps in ceilings with limited plenum, in remodels and in low-clearance basements. Liteline offers a family of accessories for the SKYE line, including a pre-mounting plate for round trim for new construction layouts, and two vapor barrier extenders: the VBE-3 for remodel work, which prevents air leakage from entering the attic, and the VBE-1 for new construction applications — both are worth specifying in Canadian homes where attic air sealing matters. On the decorative side, the magnetic SKYE Select Trims are dead front and interchangeable: SKYE Select Trims SLMB4-12W-RT-BKBK, SKYE Select Trims SLMB4-12W-RT-BKSP and SKYE Select Trims SLMB4-12W-RT-BKSS cover black, black/specular and black/semi-specular looks.

Where it works, and what to read before you order
In a kitchen, run these LED pot lights over the island and counters for clean white task light, then drop the whole room into a warm tone after dinner. In a nursery, dial a very low, warm or coloured glow for night feedings. In a salon, clinic or boutique, colour-tunable ceilings let you match your brand or the season without rewiring. In a finished basement or home theatre, the regressed optics keep the screen glare-free. If you need a companion fixture on the same ceiling, the SKYE OnCloud SLMB4-RGBTW-WZ-WH belongs to the same 4" family.
