Wiring and installation
Installation is deliberately simple. Two spring loaded clips let the fixture attach to virtually any ceiling material, and because the profile is so slim it can be mounted under joists or duct work where a can housing would never fit. The remote driver sits in an extruded aluminum hardwire box with quick connect push-in terminals, and an 18" plenum rated FT6 wire with a DC 2.1 connector links the driver to the fixture. Cut a Ø 4 1/4" (108mm) hole, feed the driver through, push in your conductors and click the connector — done. Dimming works with industry standard TRIAC/ELV dimmers in forward or reverse phase; Liteline publishes a compatible dimmer list for the SlimLED family.
