Built for commercial ceilingsThe RIGID 10" regressed downlight by
TUROLIGHT is a one-piece fixture body — it is not meant to be disassembled — finished in white and designed for indoor use only. Two spring arms fold up so the whole unit can be pushed through the ceiling opening and released against the upper surface of the ceiling panel, holding the fixture tight without brackets or extra hardware. A flexible input power conduit lead extends through the ceiling and lands on the junction box knockout, and a safety cable attaches to a structural point above the plenum, exactly the way commercial inspectors like to see it. Minimum lamp compartment dimensions are 5.51 in. diameter x 7.4 in. height, so check your existing housing before you order.
Light you can tune on siteThe big advantage of this
CCT selectable downlight is that one box solves several problems. The CCT select switch on the back of the housing moves from 2700K (soft white) through 3000K (warm white), 3500K (neutral white), 4000K (cool white) and 5000K (daylight), letting you warm up a hotel corridor and cool down a service area with the same stock. The wattage select switch, marked right beside it, sets 30W, 35W, 38W or 42W for 3000, 3500, 3800 or 4200 lumens — real
high output numbers for a 10-inch aperture, and a simple way to balance a room where some zones need more punch than others.

Wiring and installationCut power at the fuse or breaker first, remove the existing trim and bulb from the recessed housing, then open the access panel of the conduit junction box and make sure a knockout is free. Connections are straightforward: black to black, white to white, green to green or bare — if there is no ground supply wire, stop and call a qualified electrician. For
0-10V dimming, tie the purple and pink leads to the matching purple and pink wires of the building dimming system; for TRIAC, refer to the dimmer compatibility list; if no dimming is needed, simply leave those wires unconnected. Set the CCT and wattage switches before tucking the wires back into the junction box. Estimated assembly time is about 5 minutes and no tools are required. Clean only with a mild, non-abrasive glass cleaner on a soft cloth, power off, sprayed on the cloth rather than on the fixture.
Applications, compatibility and documentsThink retail sales floors and fitting rooms, dental and medical clinics, school corridors, municipal buildings, restaurant dining rooms, warehouse offices and condominium lobbies — anywhere a 347V panel or a long run of
commercial LED lighting makes 120V-only fixtures impractical. Because the whole RGD-CDR/HO series shares the same switches and the same voltage range, you can mix apertures on one project and keep the look consistent: the
Rigid 6" regressed downlight for corridors, the
Rigid 8" regressed downlight for mid-size rooms, and
2x4 LED panels 120-347V for suspended T-bar sections of the same building. The full spec sheet and installation instructions for RGD-CDR/HO/10/MW/MK9/120-347V/WH/D are in the Documentation tab — worth a read before quoting the job.
