The RD7 is a round LED puck light with a PC housing and a brushed nickel face, designed to look like part of the cabinetry rather than an add-on. The surface mount body is Ø2" (50mm) and only 5/8" (16mm) tall, so it tucks under a shelf or a cupboard without stealing headroom or casting a shadow line on the counter. Wiring and installation
This is a 12V DC low-voltage fixture, so it must be fed by an LED driver or low-voltage transformer sized for the total load of the pucks on the circuit — at 2W each, a single supply can feed a whole run of cabinets. Three installation methods are possible: surface mount (the standard method, screwed flat to the cabinet bottom), recessed in a Ø1 7/8" (48mm) cutout for an almost trimless look with no trim required, or recessed with an optional metal trim ring in the same Ø1 7/8" (48mm) cutout. The trim rings are sold separately: LS-RD7-TR-BN (brushed nickel), LS-RD7-TR-BK (black) and LS-RD7-TR-WT (white), each 2 3/4" (70mm).
