Mark your point, cut the Φ40 mm hole with a standard hole saw, confirm there is clear space behind for the strip and its cabling, then seat the kit and feed the STNEON25 flex through. Snap the trim ring on last so it covers the cut edge and leaves a neat circular border. Drywall, wood and plaster all accept the Φ40 mm bore cleanly; on brittle finishes, drill slowly and let the trim ring absorb any minor chipping at the perimeter. As with any neon flex work, plan your feed side, keep bend radius generous near the entry point, and do all low-voltage connections to the manufacturer's instructions and to the Canadian Electrical Code as applied by your local authority.
