die cast aluminum, which provides superior strength and rigidity — the kind of shell that survives years of being re-aimed, dusted and repositioned as a store layout changes. Softened edges add to the low profile aesthetic design, so a row of heads reads as a clean line on the ceiling rather than a cluster of hardware. The white trim finish blends into white ceilings and drywall bulkheads, which is exactly what you want when the light should be noticed and the fixture should not.
Lamping and light qualityLamping is handled by a
porcelain socket for 120V PAR lamps, 150 watts max, E26 base — porcelain because PAR lamps run hot and a ceramic socket handles that heat far better than plastic. A high temperature glass shield is included and comes mounted to the front of the fixture. Because you choose the lamp, you choose the beam: a narrow spot for artwork and merchandise, a wider flood for general washing of a wall or a work surface. Swap the lamp later and the same
track light head takes on a whole new job, which is why PAR-based heads remain a favourite of contractors and shop owners.
Aiming, electrical and dimmingThe fixture provides vertical rotation of 180° and horizontal rotation of 358°, giving a wide range of light source aiming possibilities, and it is a
front loading track fixture that assures a secure lock on angle position — set it once and it stays. Electrically, it takes 120V / 60Hz input, delivers 120V output and supports a 150W maximum load. It is
dimmable when used with electronic line voltage rated dimming controls only, so pair it with the right wall control if you want to soften the scene in a dining room or a lounge. The fixture is
