Electrical, installation and compatibility
Installation is as simple as lighting gets: cut power at the switch or breaker, let the old lamp cool, unscrew it and thread the S6 into any E12 candelabra socket on a 120V circuit — the bulb accepts 110 – 130V AC, so normal line-voltage fluctuation is no issue. No transformer, no external driver, no polarity to worry about. One point to respect at spec time: this lamp is not dimmable, so it must be wired to a standard on/off switch or a relay, never to a wall dimmer, or you risk flicker, buzz and shortened life. If a room is already on a dimmer, either swap the dimmer for a standard switch or choose a lamp rated for dimming.
