Built like a decorative bulb should beThe Artisan II series is TUROLIGHT's take on the classic filament look, and the
G16.5 globe is its most versatile shape: a compact round ball on an
E12 candelabra base, small enough for tight sconce shades and multi-arm chandeliers. This version uses a
milky white glass cover, which diffuses the LED filaments into one soft luminous sphere — no hot spots, no filament stripes reflected in a bathroom mirror. Maximum overall length is
3.11 inches, so it fits the same sockets your old decorative incandescent globes used, and it is sold in cases of 40 for contractors doing a whole building at once.
Light quality you can seeWith
CRI ≥90, this bulb belongs in spaces where colour matters — vanities, retail displays, dining rooms and salons. Reds stay rich instead of turning brown, whites stay clean, and skin tones look natural under the mirror. The
3000 K warm white output is the sweet spot for residential comfort: warmer and cosier than a neutral 4000 K, brighter and less yellow than a candle-glow 2200 K. Non-visible flicker is kept under
30%, which matters in rooms where you spend long stretches, and the
330° beam angle means light leaves the globe in nearly every direction — ideal for open shades, bare-bulb pendants and upward-facing sconces.

Installation and dimmingInstallation is as simple as it gets: shut off the circuit, thread the bulb into any standard
E12 candelabra socket on a
120 V line, and you are done — no driver, no transformer, no rewiring. Because it is a
dimmable LED bulb, it works on a wall dimmer, and as with all LED lamps the smoothest results come from a dimmer designed for LED loads; if several bulbs share one dimmer, keep them all the same model and wattage so they dim in step. One important limit from the spec sheet: this lamp is
not for totally enclosed fixtures, so avoid sealed globes and jars that trap heat. Its
damp location rating does allow bathrooms, covered porches and other humid-but-protected spots, and the -25 ˚C to +45 ˚C range covers a Canadian three-season room or an unheated entry.
Where to use it, and what to pair it withThink bathroom vanity bars with three to five exposed sockets, stairwell and hallway sconces, chandeliers in a dining room, pendant clusters over a kitchen island, and café or boutique fixtures where the bulb is part of the decor. Contractors mixing shapes on the same project can stay inside the Artisan II family: the
G16.5 clear 3000K version for visible-filament fixtures, the
B10 milky white 3000K torpedo for candle-style arms, the
T6 tubular 3000K for slim modern sconces, or the larger
A19 milky white 3000K where you need more output in a standard socket. The full technical PDF spec sheet for this model is in the Documentation tab — download it for the ordering guide, dimensional drawing and complete performance table before you spec your job.
