Built for fire-rated ceilings
The ENDURA Slim Panel Fire Rated is engineered around a reinforced, heat-resistant steel backplate that secures a 2-hour fire rating without a separate box or hood. Accredited laboratory testing covers UL 263:2022, ASTM E119:2020 and CAN/ULC-S101-14-REV3(2021), and the complete report is available upon request. Keep in mind that testing methodologies vary slightly between laboratories and that compliance requirements differ from one building code and jurisdiction to another, so the authority having jurisdiction always has the final word on a given assembly. The housing itself is pressure die-cast aluminum, so heat moves away from the LEDs instead of building up behind a fire-rated ceiling.

Wiring and installation
Only 1.3" high, the panel fits shallow plenums, strapped ceilings and tight joist bays where a can simply will not go. Cut a 6.25" hole, make the connections with the FT6 cable, choose the colour temperature on the selector, then push the spring clamps up and let the 7" trim sit flush. Because the driver is auto-sensing from 120 to 347V, the same fixture works on a house panel or a commercial 347V circuit — handy on mixed-use jobs. It is IC-rated for direct contact with insulation and certified airtight, which is exactly what you want above an insulated ceiling with a vapour barrier. For dimming, wire it to a 0-10V control for commercial rooms or to a compatible TRIAC wall dimmer in residential work.
