The ENDURA Slim Panel Fire Rated is engineered around a pressure die-cast aluminum body paired with a reinforced, heat-resistant steel backplate. That backplate is what secures the 2-hour fire rating, verified by an accredited lab for compliance with UL 263:2022, ASTM E119:2020 and CAN/ULC-S101-14-REV3(2021); the full report is available upon request. The fixture is also certified airtight and uses an FT6 cable, and it is IC-rated for direct contact with insulation — three things renovators constantly need when cutting into a rated ceiling or an insulated attic floor.

Electrical and installation
The 120-347V auto-sensing driver reads the incoming voltage on its own, so the same panel goes into a 120V house circuit or a 347V commercial feed without changing product codes — a big help on mixed-voltage jobs. Recessed mounting is done with spring clamps into a 4.25" cut-out, and the 1.3" height means it fits shallow plenums, dropped bulkheads and ceilings crowded with mechanicals. Dimming is handled by 0-10V or TRIAC controls, so you can keep the wall dimmers you already specify. The -20˚C to +40˚C operating range covers unheated entries, garages and covered porches, and the wet location rating allows use in showers and other damp areas subject to local code.
