ATHENA TRACK FIXTURE - 120V - PAR30 75W BLACK - PAR221/30-BK

SKU: PAR221/30-BK

Brand: LITELINE

The perfect middle ground between a small spotlight and a big floodlight, the LITELINE Athena for PAR30 lamps is a black, line-voltage track light head that handles almost any accent lighting job. Model PAR221/30-BK is an exposed-lamp track fixture, the kind of adjustable spot people look for when they shop for track lighting heads for a kitchen, a gallery wall, a restaurant or a store. Choose a 120V PAR30 lamp, for example a PAR30 LED bulb in the beam and colour temperature you prefer, and aim it exactly where you want the eye to go.

The Athena is built of die cast aluminum for superior strength and rigidity, and its softened edges give it a lightweight, high-styled, low-profile look. It operates on line voltage with a 120V / 60Hz input, 120V output and 75W maximum load, so there is no transformer involved. The porcelain socket takes 120V PAR30 lamps up to 75 watts, rear loading makes lamp changes simple and a high temperature glass shield is included at the front. The head delivers 90° of vertical rotation and 330° of horizontal rotation, then assures a secure lock on the angle. It is dimmable with electronic line voltage rated dimming controls and is cULus listed.

This black track head brings a modern edge to open-concept kitchens, lofts, dining rooms, cafés, galleries and clothing stores across Canada. It is fitted with the Liteline connector for Liteline track, as the ordering guide shows for model numbers without a prefix. Want to match another décor? The same model comes in brushed nickel and white. Add a few Athena PAR30 heads to your track and enjoy flexible, focused light in every corner of the room.

A versatile head for PAR30 lamps
The LITELINE Athena PAR221/30-BK is an adjustable, lightweight, high-styled line voltage track fixture with an exposed-lamp design, made for PAR30 lamps. Its die cast aluminum body offers superior strength and rigidity, and the softened edges add to its low-profile aesthetic. The black finish gives the fixture a strong, contemporary presence, perfect with black cabinet hardware, dark window frames or an industrial ceiling.

Aim, lock and forget it
With 90° of vertical rotation and 330° of horizontal rotation, the Athena offers a wide range of aiming possibilities. Direct it onto a kitchen island for task light, angle it across a feature wall, or focus it on a retail table, then count on the secure lock to hold the position. The PAR30 format sits nicely between smaller and larger lamps, which makes this head a practical all-rounder for accent lighting and general track lighting.

Lamping and electrical details
The Athena runs directly on line voltage: 120V / 60Hz input, 120V output and a 75W maximum load. It uses a porcelain socket for 120V PAR30 lamps, 75 watts max, with rear-load lamping for fast relamping. A high temperature glass shield is included and mounts to the front of the fixture. You pick the lamp, so you control the beam spread, brightness and colour temperature; a PAR30 LED lamp is a popular way to cut energy use and heat. Dimming is supported with electronic line voltage rated dimming controls only, together with a dimmable lamp.

Connector, applications and documentation
According to the ordering guide, a model number without a connector prefix uses the Liteline connector for Liteline (TK) track systems; other connector types are available through the guide. Use the Athena in kitchens, great rooms, galleries, bars, bakeries and boutiques. To coordinate finishes, look at the Athena PAR30 in brushed nickel or the Athena PAR30 in white. Accessories are ordered separately, and the full spec sheet with the connector chart is available in the Documentation tab.
