What this controller doesThe 8 ZONE WALL CONTROLLER RF MILGT -ALL (B8) is a wireless
RF wall panel designed to command compatible MILGT receivers, dimmers and LED strip controllers. Instead of one switch controlling everything, you break a space into eight addressable zones — cove, perimeter, island, pantry, stairs, display, signage, patio — and drive each one from a single face. The "ALL" version is built to reach the full range of compatible MILGT zone types from one panel, which keeps the wall clean and the learning curve short for the people who actually live or work in the room.
Why RF instead of infraredRadio frequency control does not need line of sight. You can operate
LED strip lights hidden in a cove, behind a valance, inside a cabinet or on the other side of a wall, and the panel still gets through. That matters in a real installation, where drivers and receivers are tucked into ceilings, millwork or service closets. It also means the panel itself does not have to sit where the lights are: put it at the room entry next to the existing switches, or at a host stand, service counter or reception desk where staff need it most.
Installation and everyday useThere is no new low-voltage home run to pull and no control cable between the panel and the fixtures — the link is wireless, so retrofits stay clean. Each zone is paired to its receiver during setup, then labelled or memorized by position; from there, users simply select a zone and adjust. Because the panel is slim and self-contained, many installers leave it loose during the punch-list phase and fix it in place once the client confirms where they actually reach for it. If you want it anchored, the matching bracket gives it a tidy, permanent spot beside the door, at the head of the bed or at the bottom of the basement stairs.
Where it shinesIn a home, one panel can handle kitchen under-cabinet strips, a living-room cove, a stairwell accent, a bar niche, a home theatre wash and an exterior soffit run — all the zones a single renovation tends to create. In commercial work, think retail with separate window, display, aisle and cash zones; a restaurant with dining, bar, washroom corridor and patio; a salon with stations, mirrors and waiting area; or a clinic where each room needs its own level. Contractors like it because adding a zone later means adding a receiver, not re-wiring a wall.
Compatibility and related productsSKU LCMILI-CRTL-B8 belongs to the MILGT control family and is meant to be used with compatible MILGT receivers and
LED strip controllers. For smaller rooms or a second control point, the
4 zone wall controller RF MILGT white (B1) and the
4 zone RF MILGT wall controller all (B4) cover fewer zones in the same style, and the
wall bracket for MILGT remote control turns a handheld into a fixed
wall control. This product page lists no spec sheet or IES file; if your project needs documented control details, confirm the receiver model you plan to pair before ordering so every zone behaves the way the client expects.
