Up and down light in one slim fixture
The LCSUSP-UD-4FT-AL-40W-30K is a bidirectional luminaire: it sends 25% of its light upward and 75% downward. The uplight washes the ceiling and makes the room feel more open and brighter, while the downlight delivers useful light on desks, tables and counters. Combining indirect and direct light gives a more balanced room than a fixture that only points down, and it avoids the dark-ceiling effect often found in offices. The robust aluminium casing keeps an exceptionally slim profile, 47.5 in long, 0.79 in wide and 3.74 in high, with an aluminium finish that blends with modern, industrial and minimalist decors.

Light quality and performance
With 40W of power and a luminous flux of 3,412 lumens, the fixture is rated as equivalent to 150W, for efficient and uniform illumination. The 120° beam angle spreads the light widely under the luminaire, and the 3000K colour temperature gives a warm white well suited to meeting rooms, restaurants, reception areas and homes. The luminaire is compatible with 0-10V dimming: paired with a compatible 0-10V control, you can lower the light for a presentation or create a softer evening ambiance. Its rated lifetime of 50,000 hours and its 5-year warranty ensure long-term reliability.

Electrical and installation details
This fixture uses a suspension-mount installation, and the suspension kit is included. The 60-inch suspension cable lets you adjust the height as needed, while the 70-inch power cord leaves room to reach the electrical connection. The input voltage range is 110-260V and the operating temperature range is 0 to 40 °C. The luminaire is suitable for use in damp locations (IP40 protection). Have a qualified electrician make the connection with the power turned off at the breaker, in compliance with the electrical code in force.
