T8 TUBE 4FT (5000K) - TYPE B - 18W 2200 LUMENS - 120-347V

SKU: T48T8-18W-50K-V10

Brand: ARANI

Cut your lighting energy while keeping your fixtures with the ARANI T8 LED tube 4 ft in 5000K. This ballast bypass LED tube, also called a Type B tube, a direct wire LED tube or a 4 foot T8 LED bulb, replaces the fluorescent lamps in troffers, strip lights, wraparounds and shop lights across offices, schools, warehouses and stores. It delivers bright 5000K daylight white with 2,200 lumens from only 18W, and because it runs on 120-347V, it suits both 120V circuits and the 347V lighting circuits found in commercial buildings. It is the simple, long-lasting way to retire aging fluorescent tubes and their ballasts.

The T48T8-18W-50K-V10 is a Type B tube: the ballast must be removed and the tube is powered directly from line voltage, so there is no ballast left to fail or waste energy. With an efficacy of 122 lm/W, it produces up to 2,200 lumens at 18W, a 30W equivalent, with a CRI of 80+ and a 100° beam angle. Its glass tube, an operating range of -20°C to 40°C and the cETLus certification come with a rated lifespan of 50,000 hours and a 5-year warranty, for dependable light in busy spaces.

Install it in offices, classrooms, retail aisles, warehouses, indoor parking garages, workshops and basements, anywhere 4 foot T8 fixtures are already in place. In Canadian commercial buildings wired at 347V, it accepts the voltage directly, with no 347V to 120V transformer to add. Prefer to keep the ballast on some fixtures? The 4 ft T8 5000K Type A+B 15W tube is designed for that option. The same V10 tube also exists in 4000K (T48T8-18W-40K-V10). Order your tubes today and brighten your space.

Built for fluorescent retrofits
The ARANI V10 4 foot LED tube was designed for converting fluorescent fixtures in commercial and industrial spaces. As a Type B (ballast bypass) tube, it takes power directly from the line once the ballast is removed, so there is no ballast left to hum, fail or draw extra power. Its glass construction keeps the look of a traditional tube, and its 100° beam angle sends the light where you need it, onto desks, shelves and work surfaces.

Light output and efficiency
With 18W of power, the tube produces up to 2,200 lumens, for an efficacy of 122 lm/W and a 30W equivalent. The 5000K colour temperature gives a crisp daylight white that keeps offices, classrooms, warehouses and retail aisles bright and alert, while the CRI of 80+ helps with reading colours and printed documents. Rated for 50,000 hours and covered by a 5-year warranty, it reduces relamping in places where you need a ladder or a lift to reach the fixtures. The operating temperature ranges from -20°C to 40°C.

Electrical and installation
The universal input of 120-347V (170 mA max) lets you use the same tube on 120V and 347V circuits, a real advantage in Canadian commercial buildings where 347V lighting is common. To install, turn off the power at the breaker, remove the ballast and wire the sockets directly to line voltage, following the ARANI instructions and the Canadian Electrical Code. The model number is T48T8-18W-50K-MV-V10 and the tube is certified cETLus. To keep the ballast on some fixtures, look at the 4 ft T8 5000K Type A+B 15W tube or the 4 ft T8 4000K Type A+B 15W tube.
