Straight lines are easy; curves are where many neon projects fall short. Flexible LED neon can be bent, but without support it tends to lose its shape, leaving wobbly arcs and uneven letters. The CANOLIGHT CL-ACC-NEON1515-SSP-1M stainless steel bendable profile solves this for the Neon 1515 series: you shape the profile first, secure it, then seat the neon inside so every curve is held exactly where you want it.
Material and handling
The profile is made of stainless steel and supplied in 1 metre lengths. Its bendable design lets you form gentle arcs, full circles, waves and custom outlines on site, by hand, following a template or a line drawn on the wall. Work gradually and avoid forcing tight kinks: smooth, progressive bends give the best-looking neon line. Once formed and fastened, the profile holds its geometry and gives the neon a continuous seat from one end to the other.
Planning a curved installation
Draw your design at full scale on paper or directly on the mounting surface. Mark the curved sections that will use this bendable profile, the straight sections that may use a rigid channel instead and the point where the power lead will enter. Bend each length to match the template, fasten it securely to a clean, solid substrate with hardware suited to the material, then press the Neon 1515 into the profile section by section. Follow the neon's own installation instructions for power and connections, and have all electrical work done to local code; commercial projects call for a licensed electrician.
