What it is and how it worksThe TUROLIGHT
PIR1 & MICROWAVE1 HIGHBAY SENSOR CONTROLLER is the programming companion for the TL-HB/Sensor/Microwave1 bi-level microwave sensor for
high bay lighting. The sensor itself is slim and low-profile, designed for installation inside the bottom of a light fixture body, and it uses microwave sensing technology that reacts to changes in movement within the coverage area. When motion stops and the time delay elapses, the light drops from high to low mode and eventually to an OFF position if that is what you want. Every time you change a setting with the remote control, the LED light connected to the sensor turns on/off to confirm the command — a simple visual handshake from the floor.
Corridor and daylight functionsThe sensor's corridor function delivers tri-level control for areas that need a light-change notice before switch-off: 100% → dimmed light (when natural light is insufficient) → off, with two selectable waiting periods (motion hold-time and stand-by period), a selectable daylight threshold and freedom over the detection area. The
daylight sensor function is opened from the controller while the remote is in setting condition: with sufficient natural light the fixture does not switch on even when presence is detected; with insufficient natural light it switches on automatically, dims to stand-by level after the hold-time, then switches off once the stand-by period elapses. Note that when the daylight sensor is open, the stand-by time is infinite.

Installation and electrical notesBecause the sensor must directly "see" the motion of a person or moving object to detect it, careful thought has to go into luminaire placement and lens selection — avoid spots where racking, ductwork or mezzanines block the line of sight. The published coverage pattern is given for a height of installation from 13 to 50 ft. After the sensor is first connected to input power, the light stays on for 15 seconds, then goes to dimming and works normally, so don't panic during that first quarter-minute. The
0-10V dim control output means the sensor drives dimmable LED drivers directly, which is exactly how bi-level
LED high bay installations are wired in warehouses and shops.
Applications, compatibility and documentationThink distribution centres where aisles are busy in bursts, mechanical rooms, hockey arena storage, car dealership service bays, grow and agricultural buildings, church halls and municipal garages: anywhere lights burn for hours with nobody underneath. This controller is intended for the
Highbay sensor - RF - LED (TL-HB/Sensor/Microwave1) installed in round UFO or linear
high bay lights, so commissioning a whole building becomes a walk-through instead of a lift rental. The complete technical PDF spec sheet is available in the Documentation tab of this page for wiring details, coverage diagrams and the full setting sequence.
