Built for the outdoors, built to stay litThis is a flexible
high-voltage LED strip designed around a simple idea: fewer components, fewer failure points. Because it runs on 120V AC directly, there is no low-voltage power supply hidden in a box somewhere waiting to fail, and no voltage drop worries over a long run. The encapsulated body carries an
IP65 rating against dust and water jets and operates from -30°C to +45°C, which covers a January cold snap and an August heatwave in the same installation. The profile measures W19 x H7mm (W3/4 x H5/16"), slim enough to tuck into a soffit groove, an aluminum channel or the return of a sign cabinet.
Light quality you can actually seeOutput is 280 lumens per foot (920 lumens per metre) drawn from 2.5W/FT (8W/M) — bright enough to define a roofline or wash a wall, gentle enough for pathway and patio accents. The 60 LEDs per metre density combined with a 140° beam degree spreads the light wide and short-circuits the "dotty" look you get from sparse strips. At 4000K neutral white with a
CRI greater than 85, faces, signage colours, cedar, limestone and planting all read naturally, which matters when the lighting is part of the brand image or the curb appeal.

Installation and dimmingPlan the run first: the strip can be shortened at the marked
cut increment of 30 LEDs - 18" (46cm), so lay out your corners and returns in multiples of that length before you cut. Line-voltage operation means the feed comes straight from a 120V circuit, so the work belongs to a licensed electrician and should follow local Canadian electrical code for exterior circuits and connections. The strip is
dimmable, letting you drop the level late at night on a terrace or hold a precise lux target on a façade. Keep the fixture within its -30°C to +45°C operating window and avoid burying it in insulation or unventilated cavities.
Where it earns its keep, and what goes with itThink roofline and eave accents on a house, illuminated address walls, deck and stair edges, pergolas, planter beds, retail window perimeters,
outdoor sign lights and channel-letter backlighting, garage and warehouse door surrounds, and cove lighting in covered entries. One 75-foot run can circle a mid-size building or trace a long driveway edge without a joint. For colour-changing patios, feature walls or seasonal displays, pair or alternate this white strip with the
Outdoor 120V AC LED strip 75' RGB, built on the same 120V AC, 60 LEDs/M, 2.5W/FT platform. The full technical PDF, 120V HIGH VOLTAGE LED FLEXIBLE STRIP, is in the Documentation tab for your specs, layouts and permit files.
