A classic shape, rebuilt as an LED
The LUMIFARO AT19 LED bulb keeps everything people like about a traditional household bulb — the familiar silhouette, the glow you can see through the glass, the way it looks in an open fixture — and replaces the hot, fragile filament with modern LED technology. The bulb colour is clear, so the light source stays visible and decorative in pendants, wall sconces, vanity bars and exposed-socket fixtures. With a compact body of 102 mm in height and 60 mm in diameter, it fits comfortably inside small shades, glass globes and tight harps where an oversized decorative bulb simply won't go.
Light quality you'll notice
Rated at 800 lumens for only 8 watts, this bulb delivers the bright, even output a main room needs while using a fraction of the energy of an old incandescent — the classic case for switching, with up to 80% less energy consumed than halogen sources. Its 3000K colour temperature is a warm white: inviting in bedrooms, living rooms and dining rooms, and still clean enough for a kitchen or a hallway. A CRI of 80 keeps colours natural, which matters when you're judging paint, fabrics, food or merchandise. The photometric file shows an average beam angle (50%) of 282.3°, meaning light spreads almost all the way around the bulb instead of firing in one direction — exactly what you want in a lamp or a ceiling fixture.

Dimming and installation
Installation is as easy as it gets: cut the power, unscrew the old bulb, screw in the AT19 and you're done — no driver, no rewiring, no fixture change. On a dimmable circuit, the manufacturer's guidance is important: LED bulbs work with most dimmers, and dimmers are generally rated for a maximum of 150 watts with LED bulbs, but you should not exceed 80% of that capacity to avoid flicker when the dimmer is at its lowest setting. As stated in the documentation, that means a maximum of 15 bulbs of 8 watts (total 120 watts) on a single dimmer. Respect that rule and your dimming curve stays smooth and quiet. Running at 120 volts, it suits standard Canadian residential and light commercial circuits.
Where it works, and what to read
Think condo living rooms and bedrooms, three-season rooms, stairwell fixtures, hotel and Airbnb units where guests notice warm light, hair salons, boutiques, cafés with exposed-bulb fixtures, and offices that want something friendlier than cold white. For landlords and property managers, a relamping run with 8W LED bulbs cuts maintenance ladder trips and keeps every room matched at the same 3000K. The Documentation tab holds the technical spec sheet for the AT19 8W, including the luminous intensity distribution diagram and the illumination table by mounting height — handy when you need to prove light levels on a project. Backed by a 2 year warranty, it's a simple, confident upgrade.
