Built for commercial duty, not for one weekend
The LS-NS-24-50 belongs to LumenstarLED's commercial grade string light family, the kind of strand that gets installed, taken down, coiled, thrown in a trailer and hung again next season. Twenty-four sockets are moulded along a single 50-foot run at fixed 24-inch (60 cm) intervals, so spacing stays consistent whether you stretch the strand straight across a courtyard or swag it between posts. Because the design is non-suspended, there is no separate support cable to tension and no messenger wire to deal with — fewer parts to order, faster installs, and a much easier job when the layout follows a wall, a railing or a pergola instead of open air.
Bulbs and light quality are yours to choose
Every socket is a E26 medium base, the most common lamp base in North America, so you decide the look. Warm filament-style bulbs give you that vintage café glow over a patio; frosted globes soften the sparkle for weddings and photo backdrops; standard LED bulbs deliver brighter, cleaner light for a work yard, a garden centre aisle or a car lot. LED lamps also let you pack far more sockets onto a circuit than incandescent lamps would, since the strand's ceiling is the total wattage, not the socket count. Bulbs are sold separately, which means you can change the entire mood of the installation later without touching the strand itself.

Electrical planning and installation
Plan your layout before you climb the ladder. The strand operates on 120V AC and tops out at 600W, so add up the wattage of the bulbs you intend to use and stay inside that limit — with low-wattage LED lamps, that leaves plenty of headroom for a long run. Since 50' sections can be plugged together, you can chain strands to wrap a full patio perimeter or continue down a walkway, as long as the combined load respects the 600W maximum and the capacity of the branch circuit feeding it. Support the strand at the sockets or between them with cable ties, screw hooks or clips, keep connections away from standing water, and use an outdoor-rated receptacle or a GFCI-protected circuit as your local code requires. The cETLus Listing makes the approval conversation with an inspector or a landlord a short one.
Where it earns its keep — and what's in the documentation tab
Think restaurant and brewery patios that need to feel open past sundown, rooftop bars, campgrounds and RV parks, market kiosks, tent rentals, garden centres, storefront windows, golf club terraces, barn and backyard weddings, and job sites that need light along a fence line. The same strand does duty as bistro lighting, festoon lighting and practical site lighting depending on the bulbs you install. For layouts, load calculations and submittals, the technical PDF for the 50' non-suspended string lights is available in the Documentation tab of this page — download it before you order your bulbs so the wattage math is done on paper, not on the roof.
